Frequently asked questions
How do I connect a USB endoscope camera to my Android phone?
Plug the camera into your phone, with an OTG adapter if needed, open Camera Endoscope and approve the USB access prompt. The live picture then appears in the app.
Will every endoscope camera work?
No. Endoscope cameras differ a great deal, and the app cannot promise that every camera will connect or that every feature will work with it. The OTG checker helps you see what your phone supports.
Why does the app ask for microphone access?
Only to add sound to a video you record. Photos and silent video work without it, and you can turn audio off in Settings.
Where are my photos and videos stored?
On your phone, in a folder of their own under Pictures and Movies. The app does not upload them, and you can delete any of them at any time.
Is it a professional inspection tool?
No. The app is a viewer and recorder, and you are responsible for how you use the camera. Keep it away from live electrical parts and moving machinery.
Is Camera Endoscope free?
The app is free and supported by ads, with consent choices where the law requires them. Ads never appear on the live camera or USB screens.
